Fashion Parades

Johnny Was Audrey Dress,
Chanel Sunglasses, Be & D Handbag,
Senso jewelled sandals.

Two Perfect Parades..

Both completetly different.  The first was The Rotary Club of Ashmore's High Tea and Fashion Parade with recycled clothing from Castaways Boutique at Chirn Park.  The love of my life managed to go to a football party, so that left me with four kids at the Parade. The Rotarians were very welcoming, and the parade was very good.

It was so nice to see so many ladies working tirelessly together fundraising - and they know how to put together a first class function!

The Sunset Soiree with Fashions from
Camilla and Marc
jacquard blazer $780-
and pants $490-
Joy Hysteric was also very good, although it did lack the sincerity from the Rotary ladies.  It was however a completely different affair so I shouldn't compare.  The fashions were very good and the parade was very professional. My pick was the Camilla and Marc jacquard Blazer and pants.  http://thejoystores.com/

We could have sat there all day sipping champagne and people watching.  It was fascinating.  Some of the contestants from the GC Confidential's Best Dressed were there. Not only were they poorly dressed, but a shower wouldn't have hurt (thats not meant to be bitchy - just honest). See previous blog: "Say No More".

Melissa Usher from Ocean Road
 Magazine in Lisa Brown.
Melissa Usher from Ocean Road Magazine looked absolutely beautiful in Lisa Brown.
How nice to see someone beautifully dressed.  Lisa Brown is available at Toscana, Chevron Island. If you look at the link to Ocean Road Magazine, you can see some photos from the Parade - social and fashions.

After the Parade we ducked down the road to Moo Moo's Restaurant (Award winning Wine Bar & Grill)  for and early (5:30) dinner to be told "sorry girls- we are fully booked".  We wandered over to Mecca Bah, shared pizza's and wine and noticed Moo Moos was still empty at 7pm when we were heading home. Go figure. Were they really booked out when the NRL grand final was on?

Love love love that long Lisa Brown that Melissa is wearing ... :)
And Love the pic of you in your Johnny Was dress ... love that brand.
And I love my Senso sandals ... but hate that they don't strap onto my skinny feet enough - think i need to get the straps altered. Any suggestions for a good shoe maker to alter the straps for me ?

The Johnny Was pic could be better and can look better with heels. There is a shoe repair man inside Mitre 10 at Australia Fair shopping centre. His name is Henry and he makes shoes for the costumes at the theme parks. He is brilliant and is basically your old fashioned cobbler and is not expensive.
