My Own Worst Enemy!
Can't help Myself!
Familiar cry from me isn't it? Check out the photo and it's fairly self explanatory - except for the big red SALE word on the bag - because I think I bought one item on sale the rest was full price. Yep! FULL PRICE!
It's so good that I sold about $100 worth of stuff on ebay and can justify spending about 10 times (slight - ok major - exageration) more and justify it at Country Road.
I am the only idiot who bought next to nothing when Spend & Save was on, and then turned up today and spent a small fortune on full price clothes? I hope not, because the place was packed, and outside was supposed to be 26 degrees and there was a queue at the registers. Now unless you are going o/s like I did last year when I went to Japan, you probably weren't buying winter. So if that's the case: "Cheers", because I'm assuming you are like me and having a glass of Giesen pretending that it's normal to pay full price at a sale event!
AND it gets worse...because I am turning into a hyprocrite. Two words - pink pants. I never said I wouldn't wear them. I think I said "I may warm to them as summer approaches." I actually think I could wear them as I am a bit over black, black and more black. The big issue with wearing them is HIM: the love of my life. Remember the previous blog: "Unwanted Attention"? (http://dressmegc.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/unwanted-attention.html) Mmmmmm....disaster! If I hear him say "I haven't seen them before" I will not be held responsible for my actions! Lol!http://www.countryroad.com.au/shop/woman/clothing/pants/60149075/Double-Cloth-Slim-Pant.html
Talk Tomorrow.

Wish I bought 3 pairs of CR ballet flats at last spend and save.....love the pink pants, what are you going to wear them with? Have you worn the Saba Silver Jeggings yet? Saba has spend and save on now.....mmmmm. Enjoy the vino, I am jealous - I've been under the weather and haven't felt like a glass of for ages.....must be really sick!
Not sure how I'll wear them yet. Im thinking maybe a singlet (fitted - not skin tight), and wedges or sandles? The Saba metallic jeans are a MUST. I wore them today and the girls ar CR today loved them, and so did the Sass & Bide girls. Hope your feeling better. x
Very funny Waller!! Have to read last post now!! Why did I not know there was a sale at CR?? Maybe lucky I didn't and Josephine thanks for tip on Saba (love the clothes). With you Jo on being a little jealous of the ability to enjoy a glass of Giesen.
Can't wait to see what your weekend brings!!
I just bought the Saba Silver Jeggings! I panicked when Saba store didn't have my size so hot footed it to DJs and snapped up the last pair there. I have bought so many jeans/pants/jeggings this last month. Now I need some tops - I hate buying tops for some reason??? Looking forward to getting out and about while wearing them. I think they're a bit fancy for playgroup!!
Thanks for reading Lucie. Just to keep in the theme of of the blog, I paid full price for my Saba jeggings! lol! Where's that Giesen?
Thats great you bought them. You won't be sorry. I get heaps of comments. when you first wear them you feel a bit vulnerable, but that goes pretty quickly. I'll hunt for tops - I've bought stacks of pants too.
Did you know Iif you become a SABA VIP you get 10% off all full priced items? The nice lady in DJs told me. Doesn't work for spend and save, but good at other times. You just have to join the mailing list!
I just bought them online for me!! Am waiting hopefully in Mondays mail! Living on a cattle property near Roma do a lot of online shopping and yes am SABA vip...got to love 10%!!! Am sure the poddy calves will appreciate my silver jeggings!!!
That's pretty funny! The Saba silver jeggings are THE BEST pants I have bought. The cut is fantastic.
