The Debate Continues...

Appropriate Race Wear

Alexa swimmable bra $69-95
Has everyone talking.  You don't have to be a GC local to have an opinion.  The Gold Coast Bulletin had some readers come out swinging saying the more skin the better. That's all well and good when you are on the beach or if you are a Meter Maid.

I love the Meter Maids, I love the nightclubs. I love that the GC has the Guinness World Records for the Largest Bikini Parade. That's great fun and so very GC.  However we are talking about going to the races, and whether you like it or not Race Tracks have a dress code.  If you are going to the races, you dress within the code.

Alexa swimmable
brief lace $29.95

Underwear of Sweden has offered to treat Dress Me GC readers with a substantial discount. And there's more... one lucky reader may get a free pair. More on that later....
In the meanwhile have a look at their website and get your orders ready.  They also offer free delivery and returns. You won't be disappointed - I love mine!

Witchery Broderie
Shell Tank $99.95

Witchery have some new stock in that you may like. The broderie shell tank is good and very nice on. It's $99.95. There was one size 10 left at Marina Mirage and unfortunately it had make-up stains on it, so it's off to Witchery at Robina for me.   http://www.witchery.com.au/her/tops/broderie-shell-tank-1?color=WHITE

Witchery Striped
Textured Shorts $89.95
They have some nice shorts too. Witchery Striped Textured Shorts are very nice. Get the bigger size if you want them to sit on your hips and you need them to be a bit longer in the leg. http://www.witchery.com.au/her/shorts/striped-textured-short-1?color=NAVY/WHITE

I think the Racetrack should still be a sacred fashion etiquette place. In my day you would never wear pants let alone shorts and open toed shoes were not acceptable - sling backs ok! I'm not that old....it's nice I think to have some boundaries, you can dress like a slapper any other day!!
Can you help.....I saw a woman the other day in gorgeous floral shorts similar to these kids shorts http://www.seedheritage.com/i2720802 (I am so getting these for my daughter btw!) Has anyone seen them around? I was going to ask her but I know some people don't like to share that info!! and don't worry, I wouldn't dream of wearing them to the races!!!

I can't seem to open the link? I am sure it's my computer skills! lol! Everyone has an opinon on racetrack dress. It's quite simple - dress in the appropriate code and you can't go wrong.

The Seed kids shorts are divine - not in store yet but they are on the website marked coming soon (not your computer skills, mine!) I think your Miss 6 needs them, my little one is definitely getting a pair. If you do see them and then find anything similar for some Mother-daughter dressing I would be grateful! I did just order some Living Doll "Kidman" shorts from Birdsnest. Hope they're not hot pants! Roberto Cavalli shorts have been sent back to Target today!
